Part of empowering the future of work, is to be ahead of the technological trends and innovations that will shape how that work will be done. This is an evolving conversation about where technology can truly step-in to influence change inside of a company’s internal and external communications structure, in this case, specifically the HR function.
To support this conversation Intactic and NCHRA hosted an HR Start-Up pitch competition on July 18th, 2017 to learn more about the HR solutions people are creating and where this conversation is headed. We invited several HR veterans to hear the start-up pitches and judge which would be moving forward to the NCHRA HR TechXpo in San Francisco in August of 2017.
The event was emcee’d by Intactic’s very own Preston Lewis and judged by industry veterans whose backgrounds were from finance, tech and HR. The judges were Jorge Mendes Estrada from Kapor Capital; Michael Papay, CEO of Waggl; Tae Hea Nahm, Managing Director at Storm Ventures; Jose Benitez Cong, Founder and CEO of Plause; David Swanson from DavidSwansonHR, previous head of Human Resources for SAP.
The three winners that are moving forward to pitch at the NCHRHA TechXpo are (in no particular order, of course):

Everyone did an amazing job presenting their current work and we appreciate every attendee that came out to the Transbay WeWork to participate in the ever evolving and fascinating conversation that technology, innovation and communications brings to company’s daily.
